Our large group (significant others, med students, and children) activity will be attending Roseland Polo's match on Sunday September 25th at 1:30 pm. It is located at the King Family Vineyard in Crozet. It is free and it is recommended that you arrive early to get a spot. I will be there at 12:30 and will bring a picnic lunch. On their website (http://roselandpolo.com/) you will find more helpful information.

Also, their tasting room will be open and a tasting of six wines is $5.

Please check roselandpolo.com on the morning of the 26th to make sure the match has not been cancelled. I will also send out an e-mail if it is cancelled.

Also, our annual trip to the Carter Mountain Apple Harvest Festival is early this year. Please e-mail (marie.m.perry@gmail.com) or comment on our Facebook page (UVA Med Significant Others) which Saturday will work best for you and your significant other. The choices are October 2th or 9th.

The Significant Others Support group promotes friendship and interaction among the significant others of medical students. The group gets together once a month for dinner. We have also started a monthly craft night. Along with these activities we also plan get togethers for all med school couples such as game nights, dessert swaps, bowling, and attending Fridays After Five- to name a few.
